Via GuaniIn ancient
times this was the road of the shops and then the via dei Forni. This
road is the developement of the town towards west: its medieval
buildings ( the mayor's house, some buildings with slated entrance and
decorations and at N. 37 the Palazzo delle Sirene wich is the most
interesting house of rich people Of XVIII century). Towards the Borgo
Nuovo (now via Garibaldi) the road was closed by the gate of San
Cristoforo, where the medieval battlements ended ( you can still see the
defence towers later transformed intoprivate houses).
